I have finally received the long-awaited green tea powder by mail (muahahahaha). It came in this green packaging and I was glad it has a zip-lock. So today I have made matcha bubble tea (my simple version- see below). I plan to make some matcha desserts (buns, cake, cookies and so on) next time.
MATCHA BUBBLE TEA
For 1 cup
You need:
2 Tbs tapioca pearl (already cooked)
1 Tbs honey
1 1/2 Tsp matcha (green tea) powder
1 cup cold milk
3 Tbs warm water
Sugar (optional)
Ice cubes (optional)
Steps:
1. Dissolve the matcha and honey in warm water.
2. Add milk, then the pearls.
3. Serve. Enjoy.
Note: For sweeter version, you can either add sugar and put more honey.
