Mum's dishes (Round 1)

Alright, I will continue on my mum's dishes posts. These are main dishes that she normally prepares and we usually eat in Mauritius. The below selection are mainly from Asian influence.


Sweet sour fish in the middle, spring rolls to the left, green veggies on top and stir fry noodles to the right
Steamed fish,with veggies (lettuce and asparagus), and some 'niouk yen' (pork and choco steamed balls)
Steamed boat
Deep fried wonton with pork filling
Corn soup with some broccoli, mushroom and carrot stirfry
Dumplings with fish balls & veggie soup
Steamed chicken and cabbage stirfry
Fish tofu  and veggie stirfry
'Niouk yen' - Pork and veggie steamed balls
Stir fry noodles
'Bol renverser' - Fried egg, chop suey and rice
Some more 'niouk yen' because we just can't get enough
Sizzling japanese tofu

Beef capsicum stir fry
Broccoli, carrot and shiitake mushroom stir fry
